Knitting in the Peruvian Andes is an art form spanning more than 3,000 years of history. Peruvians were the first pre-Columbian people to work with wool from alpacas, llamas and vicunas in South America and given the tough weather conditions, they became experts in creating warm clothes. Knitting was also considered a special form of art in the Incan culture.
Our baby alpaca pashminas pay homage to these ancient traditions, showcasing them to the world with simple clean designs and neutral colours. These items are light but warm and can be worn in several styles depending on the occasion.
